Moldavite is only found in the Czech Republic and is a high temperature glass that was created by a meteorite impact; it is categorized as a true tektite.

Moldavite's rare occurrence and marvelous and intense green color make it highly valuable and collectible. Moldavite is believed to have very strong and beneficial metaphysical properties and is rarer on Earth than Gold and Diamonds.

Moldavite is found in gravel and clay deposits over some wide areas in the Czech Republic, normally exposed by excavating and washing the gravel. It is found in amazingly shaped sometimes feathered chunks and is dated at approximately 14 million years old.
