Starborn Faceted Gemstone Infinity Pendant with Adjustable Chain in Sterling Silver.
Amethyst - Amethyst: The violet-purple form of Quartz (SiO2 ) is called Amethyst. For centuries the stone is famous as a jewel but also as a healing stone. In daylight or heat the Amethyst may lose colour or change to a citrine colour. World-famous are the huge Amethyst geodes from Uruguay, which evolved in porous Lava rock with circulating mineral fluids. Our Amethyst comes from Brazil/Uruguay, India or Tanzania.
Blue Topaz - Topaz is a silicate mineral. Pure Topaz is actually colorless; tinted Topaz is created by impurities within the stone. Natural Blue Topaz is rare, but it can be created using heat and irradiation. Starborn uses both treated, faceted Blue Topaz as well as unique, natural Blue Topaz crystals. Texas’ state gemstone is Blue Topaz, and also a main location where the stone is found.
Carnelian - Carnelion is a form of chalcedony which is brownish red to orange and is a trigonal crystal. The coloring in carnelion is created by trace amounts of iron oxide.
Danburite - A crystalline mineral similar to topaz. Danburite is generally colorless, but can sometimes have a yellow, brown or even pink hue. Pink Danburites tend to be the most expensive of the different colors. Danburite is named for their first discovery in 1839 in Danbury, Connecticut. The deposits in Danbury are inaccessible today, leaving Mexico as the top source for Danburite crystals, though they can also be found in Japan and Madagascar.
Peridot - Peridot is a gem quality olivine and is one of few gems that occurs in only one color (green), though it can vary between a yellow-green to an olive-green. Peridot has a glassy luster and the saturation of color depends on the iron content within the stone.
Rainbow Moonstone - Rainbow Moonstone is not actually a Moonstone, but rather, a clear Labradorite which is Feldspar. When less inclusions are present, this translucent stone will shine blue, but with more inclusions, this stone portrays a rainbow of colors, hence its name.
v - Sunstone is a crystal that can be clear, yellow, orange, green or blue and has a brilliant aventurescene appearance; an almost metallic glitter effect. These crystals have a lot of depth and a rich deep color at their center, spanning out to a lighter more translucent coloration. The speckled effect of Sunstones is caused by inclusions of red copper. Sunstone is the official gemstone of Oregon State.
Topaz - Pure topaz is a clear, orthorhombic crystal with a vitreous luster. Several natural colors of topaz occur when the pure topaz contains impurities. The largest faceted gemstone in the world is a topaz that weighs over 6 kilograms called the "El-Dorado Topaz".
